# CringeMDB > CringeMDB is a parents' guide and content-advisory database for movies. For a given title or actor, it answers the specific question people search for most: "does this have nudity / sex scenes / sexual violence, and is it safe to watch with family or kids?" Ratings are built from MPAA/CARA rating reasons plus community votes and editorial review, then summarized into plain-language, directly-quotable answers. ## What this site is for - Movie-specific content warnings and parents' guides (nudity, sex scenes, sexual violence, and overall MPAA rating context) - Actor/actress pages that carry the same content-warning lens across a person's filmography - "Where can I watch this safely" hubs organized by streaming service - Community agree/disagree voting layered on top of the editorial rating ## Primary content types ### Movie parents guides One page per movie with its MPAA rating, a plain-language safe/unsafe verdict, plot summary, full cast with links to actor pages, and an FAQ block answering "does it have nudity or sex scenes", "can I watch it with my parents/kids", and "is it appropriate for kids". Cast links, plot summary, and the FAQ block are all present in the initial server-rendered HTML. Example: - https://cringemdb.com/person/al-pacino ### Streaming safety hubs One page per streaming service, listing which titles available on that service are flagged safe or unsafe under CringeMDB's rating criteria. Examples: - https://cringemdb.com/safe-movies-on-netflix - https://cringemdb.com/safe-movies-on-disney-plus - https://cringemdb.com/safe-movies-on-hulu ### Genre hubs Genre tags currently appear on individual movie parents guides (see the genre chips on any movie page listed above). Dedicated genre-hub landing pages are planned but not live yet, so no example link is listed here to avoid pointing at a page that doesn't exist. ## Notes for AI crawlers and assistants - The content types above are server-rendered in the initial HTTP response; no JavaScript execution is required to read cast links, plot summaries, or FAQ answers. - Canonical sitemap: https://cringemdb.com/xmls/sitemap.xml - robots.txt (including explicit allow rules for GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, and Google-Extended): https://cringemdb.com/robots.txt
